Port Spain, September 13, 2011. After thirteen years of unjust and cruel imprisonment of the Cuban Five, peacekeeper of the Cuban people, the Cuban Medical Brigade in Trinidad and Tobago adopted a declaration demanding the freedom of their brothers, united in the common cause of saving lives.

The Movement For Social Justice (MSJ) extends its solidarity to the IV International Campaign in favour of the release of the Five Cuban Heroes who are unjustly incarcerated in United States’ prisons. The MSJ is committed to support and extend solidarity to all peoples who are struggling against all forms of domination and anti-democratic practices everywhere throughout the world. The struggle for the release of these patriots known as the Cuban 5 is a just one and the MSJ joins the millions around the world in calling for the return of the Cuban 5 to their families.

Christopher Starr, Professor of the University of the West Indies and active member of the Organization of Solidarity with Cuba "Cuba-Solidarity", received personalized letters from Gerardo and Antonio, two of the five Cuban´s heroes unfairly prisoners in prisons of the United States, in response to the letters sent by him to the Cuban Five.
