Port Spain, September 14, 2011. Within the framework of the 3rd China-Caribbean of Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum held in this capital, Cuba and China signed a Cooperation Agreement whereby the People's Republic of China gives Cuba a donation for 30 million of Yuan, equivalent to USD $ 6.4 million.  

Port Spain, September 7, 2011. Members of the Cuban colony based in Trinidad and Tobago, signed the condolences book opened at the Cuban Embassy, on the occasion of the passing away of the Army Corps General Julio Casas Regueiro.  

Port Spain, September 6, 2011. Yesterday traveled to Cuba three new students from Trinidad and Tobago which began studies of medicine at the Latin American and Caribbean School of Medicine located in the capital of the country.

Port Spain, August 29, 2011. On August 24, the Cuban Embassy in Trinidad and Tobago held a friendly meeting with the new students from Trinidad and Tobago who received scholarships, to study Medicine in Cuba at the Latin American and Caribbean School of Medicine, better known as ELAM.

With the presence of the Mayor of the City of Puerto Spain, Mr. Louis Lee Sing, Margaret Parillon Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, among other local personalities successfully began yesterday, the Festival of Cuban Food at the Hyatt Hotel in this capital.  

Port of Spain, May 23. With the opening in the Art Gallery "Y” of the expo/sale of paintings from the outstanding Cuban Painters José Fuster and Alice Leal, began today The 2011 Cuban Arts and Food Festival, which will be extend until June 4.
