Cuba promotes business opportunities in the agriculture in Jamaica

Embassy of Cuba participates at the Spanish Immersion Day in Jamaica

Cuban collaborators who teach Spanish at Jamaican schools, together with representatives from the Cuban embassy in Jamaica, participated at the Spanish Immersion Day organized by the Ministry of Education, the Jamaican-Spanish Foundation and the Spanish speaking countries at the Diplomatic Corps.

The newly appointed President of the Senate of Jamaica, Tom Tavares Finson, received last Friday, April 15th, the Ambassador of Cuba, Bernardo Guanche Hernandez, at the venue in the Parliament.During the meeting, Tavares Finson comented that the excellent relations Jamaica has with Cuba are based on historic roots, and that’s the reason why they remain unaltered.

Minister of Labour and Social Security Meets with Cuban Ambassador

The Minister of Labour and Social Security of Jamaica, Shahine Robinson, welcomed this morning in courtesy visit, the Cuban Ambassador, Bernardo Guanche Hernandez, during which both authorities discussed about the close relations between Cuba and Jamaica as well as the positive impact Cuban collaboration has in this nation, in particular in in the areas of Health and Education.
