Indonesia, April 19, 2016. The Cuban Ambassador Nirsia Castro Guevara reiterated Cuba's support to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, during the third World Solidarity Day: "The Peoples of the World Together with Venezuela".
The Cuban diplomat recalled the deep bonds of friendship between the two peoples and the historical and patriotic ties. She reiterated Cuba's rejection of the extension of the decree of the United States pointing to Venezuela as an "unusual and extraordinary threat to security" of the US. The Ambassador also recalled the visit to Cuba by President Nicolas Maduro last March, at which he was awarded the Order José Martí –highest decoration awarded by the Cuban State- in a ceremony presided by the president of the Councils of State and Ministers, Army General Raul Castro Ruz.
The realization worldwide of the third World Solidarity Day: "The Peoples of the World Together with Venezuela" was convened by the Forum of Sao Paulo the 3rd of March at the meeting held in Mexico City.
