Indonesian Minister for Women's empowerment and child protection received the Cuban Ambassador.

Jakarta 20 February 2015. The Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia, Hon. Mrs. S. Yoahana Yembise, accompanied by his Special Adviser Mrs. Luly Altruiswaty received at the headquarters of that ministry Cuban Ambassador Enna Viant V., who presented a dossier of documents relating to the work and achievements of the Federation of Cuban Women and statistics that demonstrate the role of women in Cuban society during the last 55 years of existence. The minister expressed her desire to establish relations with female counterpart organizations and said that Cuba being a small country has shown positive results in this area. She then assessed the necessary plans and efforts that the institution leads and must perform for the empowerment of Indonesian women and greater representation in parliament, which currently reaches only 17%, which was reduced one point relative to the last legislature.
