Given the Convention on Cluster Munitions will not enter into force for Cuba until next October the first, our country has not yet submitted the National Report on Compliance.
The report shall be duly submitted by our authorities, as indicated in Article 7 of the Convention, within 180 days from the entry into force for Cuba, i.e. no later than March 30, 2017.
In his capacity as State Party to the Convention, Cuba will strictly comply with all its obligations, including the submission of their national reports within the establish deadlines.
This will be greatly facilitated by the fact that in Cuba there are legal provisions regulating everything concerning weapons and ammunition that are strictly enforced.
Thank you very much.
