The fifth batch of 14 graduating Gambian medical doctors of the School of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences of the University of The Gambia (UTG) were Wednesday sworn-in at a ceremony held at the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH) in Banjul

The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in The Gambia under the stewardship of its ambassador recently celebrated the Cuban Cultural Day.

The Cuban ambassador to The Gambia has said that the direct economic damages to Cuba caused by the implementation of the United States’ economic, commercial and financial blockade, based on current prices and very conservative estimates, amounts to more than US$104 billion as of December 2010
