Khartoum. The Minister of Health of the Sudanese Republic, Bahr Idriss Abu-Garda, received the Cuban Ambassador Otto Vaillant Frias, who is doing a visit of concurrence in this country.

The Minister thanked the friendship of the government and people of Cuba, and expressed his interested in receiving Cuba's cooperation in health field.

Cairo, February 4, 2013. The homage to Cuban National Hero Jose Marti, on the 160th anniversary of his birth had a positive impact on the Egyptian media, including the official Al Ahram, the country's largest and one of the Arab world's most prestigious .

The newspaper published an extensive review, illustrated with a photograph of the tribute in the park Hurriyah and said the words of the Cuban ambassador, Otto Vaillant Frias, who alluded to the universality and validity of Marti's thinking in the XXI century.
