The Canadian NGO "Help Fight Ebola Canada (HFEC) recognized the important contribution of the Cuban government and doctors in the battle against the global pandemic of Ebola, with the award "Friends of Africa Award Humanity", which was received at a special ceremony by the Consul General of Cuba in Toronto, Javier Domokos Ruiz.

Cubans in Ottawa Support Homeland Baseball Team in CAN-AM League Games

Ottawa, June 20.- Cuban National Baseball Team took on Ottawa Champions of CAN-AM League this weekend during a three-game series at the RCGT stadium in the capital city. Great crowds attended the games but a large group of Cuban residents in Canada who went to cheer their homeland baseball team stood out with their drums, trumpets and flags.
