Botswana, May 21, 2016. The Cuban health volunteers and members of the Cuban state mission in Botswana today paid a deserved tribute to our national hero José Martí Pérez in the 121 anniversary of his death in combat.

BOTSWANA, May 11, 2016. On the afternoon of May 9, 2016 arrived in Botswana a new group of Cuban health volunteers, who received an initial preparation on various useful topics, in order to assure their proper insertion into the respective brigades and centers where they will be rendering their services in 3 of the 9 districts where both countries decided to allocate the Cuban health professionals, under the existing Memorandum of Understanding between the two governments since 2012.

Botswana, April 27, 2016. The Cuban Ambassador to Botswana, H.E. Mr. Juan Carlos Arencibia Corrales, this afternoon paid a courtesy call to the Honorable Dr. Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Botswana, with whom held a positive exchange of views regarding to the good level of bilateral relations existing between both governments, on the current situation of their respective countries, as well as on the other issues of common interest, including several matters concerning to the international affairs.
