Upon arrival at the Sir Seretse Khama International Airport in this capital city, were received by the staff of the state mission, the head of the medical team in the country and the Cuban Communist Party leadership, who offered a warm welcome.

On the occasion of the recent developments related to public revelations about the illegal use by the U.S government of telecommunications platforms for subversive purposes against Cuba , a press conference took place at the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in Botswana aimed to denounce these interventionist practices, such as the creation of the Cuban twitter called Zunzuneo and other technology platforms conceived and designed with the purpose of creating situations of destabilization and provoke the substantial changes in socio-economic and political system of Cuba .
