Deputy Minister of Health received the Cuban Ambassador to Botswana:

 Botswana, June 19, 2014. The Botswana Deputy Minister of Health, Thandie Kgosiesele, received in a working visit the Cuban Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Juan Carlos Arencibia Corrales, with whom held a fruitful exchange of views on issues of common interest in the health sector, in particular, the current state of Cuban medical cooperation in the sister African country and compliance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two sides in August 2012.

 BOTSWANA, June 6, 2014. Cuban Ambassador to Botswana, H.E. Juan Carlos Arencibia Corrales, was received in a courtesy call by Dr. Stergomena Lawrence Tax, Executive Secretary of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC), to whom ratified once again the political will of Cuba to strengthen bilateral cooperation ties with the 15 member countries of the said subregional organization, as well as with the SADC Secretariat that is headquartered in Gaborone.
