Botswana, May 5, 2013. The new members of the Cuban Medical Team who arrived in Botswana on May 3, 2013, signed the code of ethics of the cooperants, by which they pledged to fully comply the task entrusted to them with great spirit of sacrifice, discipline, dedication and commitment.

 Botswana, May 4, 2013. As part of the Cuban Medical Team’s replacement process, who are supposed to finish their duties in the forthcoming days, on May 3rd, 2013 arrived in Botswana the first group of Cuban health specialists to be gradually incorporated during the course of the year to complete the agreed figure of 102 specialists belong the Memorandum of Understanding signed between two sides in August 2012

Botswana, April 26, 2013. The Minister of Agriculture of Botswana, Honorable Christian De Graff, received this afternoon a courtesy call paid by Cuban Ambassador, H.E. Juan Carlos Arencibia Corrales, who held a cordial and fruitful exchange on topics of mutual interest, particularly the prospects for collaboration in the agricultural sector, while examining other aspects of the current situation of both countries and of the international agenda.

Botswana, April 10, 2013.    Botswana Health Minister, Honorable Reverend Dr. John Seakgosing, received a courtesy call paid by H.E. Juan Carlos Arencibia Corrales, Cuban Ambassador to Botswana, who held a lively and fluid exchange on matters of common interest in the health sector and the assistance given by Cuban health professionals to his country for decades. 

 Botswana March 29, 2013. The brigade of sports cooperants held its annual balance meeting of work done in 2012, which was attended by all of its members and by the staff of the Cuban state mission in Botswana.

The Ambassador of Cuba in Botswana, Juan Carlos Arencibia Corrales, held a fruitful meeting with Mr. Falcon Sedimo, Director of Sports of the Botswana Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture, with whom discussed issues of mutual interest regarding to the bilateral cooperation in the field of sports.
